TMI Episcopal partners with Department of Occupational Therapy at UT Health San Antonio

APRIL 26, 2021 – TMI Episcopal announced today that it will be partnering with the Department of Occupational Therapy at UT Health San Antonio during the 2021-2022 school year. Students enrolled in TMI’s Innovation & Design classes will be working with the Occupational Therapy doctoral students at UT Health to bring functional products to members of the San Antonio community who need them most. TSJCL AREA B Results

On Saturday, February 27, 2021, TMI Latin students competed at the annual Texas State Junior Classical League (TSJCL) Area B Convention, which is a part of the National Junior Classical League – an organization of middle school and senior high school students sponsored by the American Classical League. TMI Academic WorldQuest teams capture 2nd and 3rd place

Two TMI teams participated in the Academic WorldQuest competition sponsored the World Affairs Council of San Antonio on Tuesday, February 23rd. The Junior-Senior team included senior Erik Peterson and juniors Evan Gardner, Farouk Ramzan, and Jack Waters. The Freshmen-Sophomore team included sophomores Elise Bostian and Owen Bruhn, with freshmen Khivan Raina and Calvin Walls. Both were quizzed on their knowledge of international relations and current events, with special topics ranging from the legacy of the Arab Spring to the International Labor Organization. National Merit Scholarship and College Board Recognition

Congratulations to the following students who were honored in chapel on Friday, November 13, 2020, for their achievements in being recognized by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Program. National Latin Exam Awards

All TMI Latin students took the National Latin Exam the week before spring break on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, and the results are in! Of the students who took the exam, 82% of our Middle School Latin students scored above the national average, and 48% of our Middle School Latin students are in the top 10% in the country. TMI announces Lillibridge Scholars

TMI Episcopal has named Lucas Senecal and Ivory Stoltz as recipients of the Lillibridge Scholarship, its most prestigious merit award for Middle School students, for the 2020-2021 school year. Since 2016, the scholarship is awarded to two rising sixth-grade students who will be joining the TMI community. The $15,000 scholarship is distributed in the amount of $5,000 per year from sixth through eighth grade. Recipients are expected to embody the core values of TMI by maintaining a high academic average, participating in extracurricular activities and demonstrating excellent character.
