Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for the 2018-2019 school year included all service hours earned from June 1, 2018-May 31, 2019. TMI junior selected to serve on SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council

Eric Gibbons, a junior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, has been selected to serve as a member of the inaugural SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council. The Council brings together young leaders from across the country, ranging in age from 14-20, to provide input and ideas to SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment and its partners regarding conservation initiatives, education programs, and strategies for reaching and engaging young people in conservation work. TMI senior leads Rotarians in service project

Elise Notzon, a senior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas enlisted the help of members of the Dominion Rotary Club in making special “lovie” dolls that help parents of premature infants bond with their children while the babies are still in hospital neonatal intensive care units (NICU). At the club’s Sept. 30 meeting, Notzon showed the Rotarians how to make the dolls, a project of the Threads of Love needlework ministry. TMI students help raise funds for Monarch Academy

The third annual Hand-in-Hand: A Night On The Runway fashion show with the students of the Monarch Academy at Morgan’s Wonderland and students at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas took place on Saturday March 1, 2014. TMI students buddied up with Monarch Academy students and participated in a number of activities during the school year, which culminated in a Fashion Show for the students at Morgan’s Wonderland. The purpose of Hand-in-Hand is to raise funds for the non-profit Monarch Academy, an innovative school for students with mild to moderate special needs. Family makes Annual Fund history, briefly

Meet TMI Donor Family #218 — Mary Ellen and Randy Herrera, daughter Madison ’17, and son Carter — whose gift lifted Parent Annual Fund participation to a new record of 63% (a record that didn’t last long!). Mary Ellen’s reason for giving: “Out of appreciation for all that TMI has done for our daughter.
