Justin Khemalaap ’24 and Bernice Gitiche ’24 represented TMI Episcopal at the Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Texas Capital Area State Leadership seminar, held June 10-12 at the University of Texas at Austin. The organization’s annual seminars provide opportunities for leadership development in three areas – personal, group and societal. Participants, who are nominated by their high schools, interact with local community leaders, take part in hands-on leadership activities and conduct a community service project.
