TMI was proud to recognize the hard work and servant leadership of Cadet Ewan Aitken ’23 who met all of the requirements to be commissioned as a cadet officer within the Corps of Cadets. Cadet Aitken received his oath from the Commandant of Cadets and was commissioned as a Cadet 2nd Lieutenant and will be serving as the Platoon Leader for Charlie Company for the remainder of the school year. This year, the Texas Military Institute Corps of Cadets set another record for the most female cadets participating in the optional leadership program in over 129 years. Forty-eight Lady Panthers gathered for the annual breakfast to welcome in the newest members of the Corps and share some bonding time with one another.
