Claudia Clark, who teaches Latin at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, has been selected by area colleagues to represent the San Antonio Classical Society at the Texas Classical Association Fall Conference to be held Nov. 2-3 at the University of Texas at Austin. The Texas Classical Association is an organization for teachers and future teachers of the classics in Texas at all levels, from elementary school through university. Melissa Cormier, a visual arts instructor at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, has been awarded a full scholarship to attend the Art Educators’ Forum Summer Conference in June at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savanna, Ga. At the conference, art teachers will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on, project-based workshops that include demonstrations, lectures, studio work and local field trips, learning new skills that can be incorporated into their classrooms.
