Karla Ortiz, who teaches English as a Second Language at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, has been accepted to the Honor Society at Lamar University, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

Membership in the society is based on GPA and a nomination, recognizing student success and encouraging further achievement.
Lamar University is a public research university located in Beaumont.
