Joseph DeLoach, choir director of TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, was selected to be a conducting fellow in the University of Georgia Summer Choral Conducting Institute, an intensive, weeklong program of seminars and master classes for music educators and church musicians.

DeLoach was one of 12 applicants chosen to participate in the Institute, to be held June 23-27 at the university’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music. During the fellowship program, he and other participants will explore rehearsal techniques, score-studying methods and gestural options and will have the opportunity to conduct a resident choir and to encounter new repertoire to be used in their home programs.
