TMI X-country runners headed for State

TMI freshman Ana Ross, center with medal, won first place at the Oct. 18 TAPPS District Cross-country Meet. The girls team took second place overall, and the TMI boys team won third overall.

The varsity girls cross-country team of TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas earned second place in the TAPPS 4-4A District Meet, held Oct. 18 in Corpus Christi.

Freshman runner Ana Ross took first in the individual varsity girls race, and the varsity boys team won second overall.

In the JV boys race, freshman Jacob Carter tied for third, and sophomore Austin Miller came in sixth.

With these wins, the TMI team qualified to compete in the TAPPS State Meet, to be held Oct. 26 in Waco.

Ross previously won first place in the varsity girls race at the Seguin Matador Cross-country Challenge, held Oct. 4 in Seguin.
