TMI Middle School students attend Model UN in New York

Last week, fourteen 7th and 8th grade TMI students attended the Global Classrooms Middle School Model UN Conference in New York City, where they joined over 1,500 students from the United States and abroad to devise solutions to real-world issues. Representing Chile, TMI’s delegates stood for the country’s interests as they experienced the functioning of the United Nations.

Seventh grade students Haddie Hill and Eloise Owen earned Honorable Mention for their contribution to their committee. The students were joined by faculty sponsors Ms. Mari O’Connell and Mrs. Cathleen Hickey, along with four parent chaperones Pete Fera, Anna Floyd, Holly Baker Hill, and Scott Kercheville.
