The Middle School baseball team of TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas captured the area ISAL championship Saturday, May 5, with an 11-6 victory over the Geneva School of Boerne.

The Panthers were the league’s No. 2 seed after the regular season, earning a bye in the first round of the playoffs. They faced Saint Mary’s Hall on Friday, May 4, beating the Barons 13-4. Coached by Troy Eason, the TMI team finished the season with a record of 8-4.

“I couldn’t be happier for our players,” said Eason. “They’ve worked incredibly hard all season, and to see their efforts come to fruition was very special. We’ll miss our eighth-graders a lot next year and we thank them for their dedication to this program.”
