Jake Wittschiebe, a sixth-grader at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, won first place at the USKids Barton Creek golf tournament held Sept. 11 on the Crenshaw Course in Austin.

He shot two birdies in a row to go one under par on the back nine, then took first place overall with a score of 74, seven shots ahead of his second-place opponent, who shot an 81.
