TMI art students competed in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and we have many regional winners. Gretchen Tiede ‘23 earned Gold Key awards on her paintings Light Years from Home and Trick or Truth. Maria Kyle’s ‘23  painting Hivemind also earned a Gold Key, the top local honor. Sara Homma’s ’22 Portfolio Las Caras de Mexico won top honors and a total of five Gold Key Awards.  All of these will advance to the National Level of Scholastic Competition.
