And yet, I found his greatest gift was that of a teacher. I should know. I’ve spent my entire professional career of thirty years teaching, coaching, advising, and running schools. Moreover, as a student, including my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have been blessed to work with some amazing and thought provoking teachers. Brown, headmaster of TMI Episcopal, was the guest speaker at a meeting of the Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary Club, held April 25 in the Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club.Noting that TMI is about to celebrate its 125th anniversary, he spoke on the school’s history – including the 1989 move to its current campus in far northwest San Antonio – recent innovations and future plans, following a strategic plan recently approved by the school’s Board of Governors.
