We are pleased to announce that Chief Warrant Officer (Ret.) Casey A. Reed has been named the Commandant of Cadets at TMI Episcopal. Chief Reed has been a valued member of the TMI community since 2022, previously serving as Deputy Commandant. With nearly 30 years of distinguished military leadership, he brings a steadfast commitment to character development, discipline, and service—the foundational pillars of our Corps program.
Chief Reed holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Leadership and Management. When he’s not serving the TMI community, he enjoys time outdoors with his family—especially at the lake or the coast—and is an avid hunter and fisherman.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the TMI community and these amazing Cadets. I am truly humbled to be called to serve in an increased role and will work diligently to build upon this leadership program.”

We are also excited to welcome Master Sergeant (Ret.) Shedrick June, who joined TMI in July as our new Deputy Commandant. Originally from Lane, South Carolina, MSG June began his military service immediately after high school and served honorably in the U.S. Army for over 21 years as a healthcare specialist. His service included multiple deployments across the Middle East in support of Operation Desert Storm and the Global War on Terror.
MSG June is a graduate of numerous advanced training programs, including the Total Army Instructor Course and the Emergency Medical Technician Course. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Wayland Baptist University and a Master of Science in Sport Management.
Now residing in Schertz, Texas, he enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth sports.
“Most things in life will come and go, but what you accomplish will last forever.”
Please join us in congratulating Chief Reed and welcoming MSG June as they continue to shape and lead the next generation of leaders.
