Meet the New Faces of TMI!

As we gear up for the 2025–2026 school year, we’re thrilled to welcome several outstanding educators and leaders to the TMI community. Each of these individuals brings unique experience, passion, and purpose to their role—and we can’t wait for you to get to know them.

Bonnie Cabeza, Associate Director of Admissions ––  Meet Mrs. Bonnie Cabeza, our new Associate Director of Admissions! With a background in education, leadership, and relationship-building, Bonnie brings over 13 years of experience to TMI. She’s passionate about helping families find their place in our Upper School community and is currently pursuing her doctorate at Baylor University.

Erika Murray, Librarian and Educational Technology Specialist –– Welcome Mrs. Erika Murray, our new Librarian and Educational Technology Specialist! Her career began as a middle school English teacher, and her love for books, research, and technology led her to pursue a career in librarianship. She brings 15 years of experience in both public and independent schools, as well as a passion for books, research, and tech.

Jeremy Morgan, Music Instructor –– Meet Mr. Jeremy Morgan, our new Arts faculty member! With 11 years of experience in music education, Mr. Morgan brings a passion for composition, performance, and student growth. He has also worked as a game developer and composer outside the classroom.

Jay Riven, Assistant Head of Upper School –– Welcome Mr. Jay Riven, TMI’s new Assistant Head of Upper School! With a diverse background in education, leadership, and social work—as well as three master’s degrees and ongoing doctoral studies— Mr. Riven brings a deep commitment to school culture, student success, and an understanding of the importance of Episcopal schools.

Rick Onofre, Middle School Language Instructor –– Meet Mr. Rick Onofre, our new Middle School Language Instructor! With 30+ years of experience in teaching and coaching, Mr. Onofre brings a deep passion for student growth and a heart for tradition and excellence.
