Several TMI Latin students received national recognition today as results were released for the National Latin Exam (NLE). The NLE, sponsored by the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League, is a 40-question, multiple-choice test with a time limit of 45 minutes, offered to students at all levels of Latin. There are questions on grammar, comprehension, mythology, derivatives, literature, Roman life, history, geography, oral Latin, and Latin in use in the modern world. Our students joined others from all 50 states and 21 foreign countries to take this year’s exam.
The following students should be commended for their hard work and achievement.
