On April 3, 2022, TMI student Jorge Rodriguez ’27, a Junior Olympian and part of the Alamo Gymnastics San Antonio team, competed in the regional championships held in Gonzales, LA, where he qualified for the National Western Development Competition.

Jorge began his gymnastic career at the age of 4, and began competing at the age of 6. He has many accomplishments including being selected for the All Future Stars Development Team USA Boys Gymnastic team in 2017 and winning 2nd place in all-around for the state of Texas is 2018.
