TMI Episcopal senior Henry Cool ’22 earned his rank as an Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouting, earlier this month on August 12. The Eagle Scout rank is an honor of which only 8% of scouts accomplish. Henry has been a Scout since the first grade and has dedicated the past 11 years to developing his skills, knowledge, and service to others through the scouting program. As a Scout, he’s gone on a variety of adventures, including scuba diving in Florida and backpacking in New Mexico, during which he worked to complete the required 21 Merit Badges.
After completing the Merit Badges, Henry took on the task of his Eagle Scout Project. A member of TMI’s lacrosse team, Henry took his love for lacrosse and applied it to his Eagle Project, building a trailer for Boerne Lacrosse. The trailer will allow the team to better manage their games at all levels of the program by moving their game goals and equipment. He proposed, planned, and carried out the project then passed a Board of Review. Henry has demonstrated an exceptional level of dedication and perseverance as he completed the necessary steps toward the rank of Eagle Scout. Congratulations, Henry!
