Last Thursday, July 8, the TMI Film & Analysis Club hosted a premiere of their film, Tango, at the Santikos Palladium. The short film, produced and edited by the members of the Film & Analysis Club, is a war drama about three lost soldiers who have flashbacks of their domestic life and the tension that has been brewing between them and a one girl. Set in the 50’s, Tango explores the moral dilemmas of conformity and desire.
Students in the Film & Analysis Club started the project last November and have spent over 150 hours in production – filming in various places, including Boerne and Randolph Air Force Base. They spent many long days, waking up early to capture shots of the sunrise and staying up late to edit, in order to reveal the film last week. The movie will be screened again during the beginning of the upcoming fall semester.
Congratulations to the Film & Analysis Club members on this accomplishment!
