Girls varsity swim team wins TAPPS Division II state title, boys 2nd

Congratulations to our girls varsity swim team on winning their first TAPPS Division II state title on Tuesday and also becoming the first all-girls TMI team to claim a state title! Freshman Emily Kitayama was named the Girls Division II Bruce Rollins Swimmer of the Meet. The boys varsity swim team took 2nd place, making them the TAPPS Division II state runner up. The combined girls and boys teams scores made TMI the overall (unofficial) TAPPS combined state champion. 

Our varsity girl swimmers broke two TAPPS records, five school records, and ā€“ in addition to the state title ā€“ claimed two state champions, two state champion relay teams, and two bronze medals.
