In early June, TMI Episcopal rising senior Jorge “Georgie” Velasco founded and launched The National Times (www.thenationaltimes.org), a nonpartisan online political media platform that provides a forum for the expression of political opinion.

In less than two months, the website has achieved over 30,000 views with a team of 15 professional staffers.
