TMI Episcopal junior Delaney Martin won the Taft Classic Golf Tournament on Feb. 25 at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club. She scored an 8 under par 64 to win the tournament by over 10 strokes and birdied half of the 18 holes on the course.Previously this school year, Martin won the Clark Girls Holiday Tournament and the Girls Division of the Thanksgiving Showdown, a Texas Junior Golf Tour event.

Last year, Martin won TAPPS district and regional championships in girls golf, setting a school record score of 70 and was runner-up in state competition. She has made a verbal commitment to play Division I golf for the University of Houston.
