TMI Robotics advances to state

Robotics Team 6221 from TMI Episcopal and their robot Pantherbots Alpha qualified to advance to FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) state competition after competing at the FTC Regional Championship, held March 2 at Canyon High School in New Braunfels. Sixty-six schools were represented from Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, San Antonio and surrounding areas, including teams sponsored by NASA and Toyota.

TMI Team members included: John Chen, Josh Cross, Meredith Ervin, Harrison Fentress, John Fera of Fair Oaks Ranch, Ethan Fish, Eric Gan, Garrett Greiner, Owen Guo, Chloe Harthan, Sam Jang, Lucas Kirma, Joey Kyle, Joanna Li, Louis Liu, Bridget Lynch, Stow Neilson, Emmet Owen, Isaiah Rettig, Arun Simha, Matthew Trainor, Jack Waters and Matthew Weiss.

The FTC Texas State Championships will be held April 5-6 in the Palmer Events Center in Austin.
