12/10/2018 TMI Episcopal junior Delaney Martin placed first in two golf tournaments within three days.Martin won the Clark Girls Holiday Tournament, sponsored by Clark High School and played Nov. 26 at the Dominion Country Club. Competing for the third time in this event, she came in first among 90 competitors representing 17 teams. She also won the Girls Division of the Thanksgiving Showdown, a Texas Junior Golf Tour event held Nov. 24-25 at TPC San Antonio, competing with 100 of the best junior golfers in the region. Martin won the two-round tournament with scores of 76 and 72, ending in a playoff.

Last year, Martin won TAPPS district and regional championships in girls golf, setting a school record score of 70 and was runner-up in state competition. She has made a verbal commitment to play Division I golf for the University of Houston.
