The varsity swim team of TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas took several top-place finishes at the Alamo Area High School Invitational Swim Meet No. 2, held Nov. 7 at Palo Alto College.
Sophomore Elizabeth Holmes won first place in the 200 individual medley and took control of both the medley and free relays for first-place finishes.
The TMI girls team won second place overall, and the boys team placed a season-high third among more than a dozen competing schools.
“I am always proud of this team for their swimming performances,” said Head Swim Coach Stephanie Barnes, “and I am especially proud of the way they support each other. We have great team spirit, so we stand out in a positive way at each competition we attend.”
