TMI seniors named Commended Students

TMI seniors William Gaines, Brianna Hernandez (center) and Kelsey Lansdale receive their Letters of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship program. They scored among the top five percent of students who took the PSAT/NMSQT last year and were recognized as Commended Students on Sept. 23 during daily chapel at their school.

Three seniors at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas were named Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Program. William Gaines, Brianna Hernandez and Kelsey Lansdale all placed among the top five percent of students who took the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Each was presented with a Letter of Commendation on Sept. 23 during daily chapel by Upper School Division Head Bob Ridewood.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
