TMI sixth-grader chosen for elite academic program

Bailey Dietzmann, a sixth-grader at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, has qualified for participation in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY), an academic center at Johns Hopkins University.

Entering the CTY 2013-2014 Talent Search last June, Dietzmann took the Advanced Scholastic and College Ability Test (SCAT), designed for students in grades nine through 12, in combination with the center’s Spatial Test Battery (STB) and earned scores that made her eligible to take part in the center’s summer courses, including residential programs at college campuses on the east and west coasts.
