TMI Swimmers are the Regional Champions!

TMI’s boys and girls swim teams competed in the 2022 TAPPS Central Region swim meet at the Josh Davis Natatorium earlier this week, and the Panthers came out on top in both divisions!  With anchoring performances by sophomore Emily Kitayama and junior George Welch, the swim team outscored the 2nd place finishing teams by 41 points! Congrats to all of our Panther swimmers as they qualified for the State Meet on February 8th.Claw ‘Em Up!! TMI swimmers take regional championships

The girls’ varsity swim team of TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, won the TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) Division 2 Central Regional Championship Jan. 29 in the Josh Davis Natatorium at NEISD’s Blossom Athletic Center. The girls’ team bested the second-place competitor, Regents School of Austin, by 49.5 points. The TMI boys’ team took fourth place, and together, the TMI boys’ and girls’ teams also won the combined team championship. Individual swimmers also took top places in their events.
