San Antonio, TX – [May 30, 2025] — TMI Episcopal is thrilled to announce the hiring of Kayleigh Crowe as the new Head Coach of Girls Varsity Basketball. With more than ten years of coaching experience at both the college and high school levels, Coach Crowe offers a dynamic leadership style focused on character development, athletic excellence, and academic alignment.
Coach Crowe most recently served as the Director of Basketball Operations and Assistant Coach at Sam Houston State University, where she was responsible for coordinating practices, developing players, and managing team logistics. Her prior tenure at Pinnacle High School in Arizona saw her lead the varsity program to back-to-back state playoff appearances, resulting in an impressive 42–10 overall record.
“I’m thrilled to join the TMI Episcopal community,” said Coach Crowe. “What excites me most is the school’s commitment to excellence in all areas—on the court, in the classroom, and in life. I believe in building a culture rooted in character, hard work, and unity. It’s not just about winning games; it’s about developing young women who lead with confidence and integrity.”
As Head Coach, Crowe will lead the girls’ basketball program in complete alignment with TMI’s core values—wisdom, integrity, service, excellence, and reverence (WISER). Her responsibilities include developing a comprehensive basketball program plan, overseeing daily practices, cultivating positive relationships with families, and mentoring student-athletes toward balanced success both on and off the court.
In addition to her coaching duties, Coach Crowe will serve full-time as a Study Hall Proctor, further supporting the academic growth of TMI students. Her dual role reflects the school’s mission to cultivate the whole student—mind, body, and spirit.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Coach Crowe to TMI,” said Peter Casey, Athletic Director. “Her enthusiasm and passion for the game are contagious, and her commitment to student development both athletically and personally will make her an outstanding role model for all our students. She embodies the spirit of our community and brings a competitive edge that will elevate our program.”
TMI Episcopal is confident that Coach Crowe’s experience, leadership, and commitment to holistic student development will have a lasting impact on the girls’ basketball program and the larger school community.
