David Bell, TMI Class of 2003 and currently a law student at St. Mary’s University, completed the Austin Area Tough Mudder in Bastrop on 11 October 2011. Tough Mudder events feature a twelve-mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. More than half-a-million athletes have participated in Tough Mudder events worldwide, and the organization has raised more than two million dollars for the Wounded Warrior Project.
