TMI sophomore Alex Hager was awarded third place in his division Feb. 13 at the annual Texas State University-San Marcos School of Music Young Artist Piano Competition, held at the Texas State University School of Music in San Marcos. Hager performed “Un Sospiro,” by Franz Liszt, and Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 18 in E-flat major, Op. [...] Latin students at TMI – The Episcopal School had two chances to earn honors this spring, as they were inducted into the honor society of the National Junior Classical League or placed with distinction on the National Latin Exam.
